About our Carers

At Cocoon Care we choose to only work with the very best carers and nurses.  We have a very stringent hiring process and work with those we believe have the right experience and passion for care. We put a lot of emphasis on our carers being sensitive, well mannered, discreet and compassionate.  Our carers come from the UK and many other parts of the world, such as South Africa, Zimbabwe, Nepal and the Philippines. 

We devote time and careful consideration to matching our carers to our clients.  These relationships are based on mutual respect and understanding.  The matching process will include consideration of experience, nationality, hobbies and lifestyle. 

If you would like to talk about the next steps, a meeting with one of our team can be arranged so we can build a picture of the carer requirements. We then offer interviews with our suggested carers to ensure peace of mind. 

Our carers are self-employed as we believe the deserve the full financial reward for the amazing work they do.  Their daily fees are to be approved by our team.  Please refer to our fees page below for more information on our agency fees.   

Any carer introduced to the client will undergo a bedding in period of 2 weeks at the start of the contract to make sure they are compatible.  If for any reason the relationship isn’t working, we will look to find an alternative carer.  The minimum care contract is a month.
